Delete your WorkCam account

WorkCam is made by Nineone Software Inc. This page explains how to delete your WorkCam account, and what happens to your data when you do. You don't need the app installed to make a request.

How to delete your account

Request deletion here

1. Enter the email address you use to sign in to WorkCam in the form below.
2. Select Request account deletion.
3. We'll email you from info@nineonesoftware.com to confirm the account is yours. Reply to that email to confirm.
4. We delete your account within 30 days of your confirmation and email you when it's done.

Delete from the iPhone or iPad app

In WorkCam, open Account and tap Delete Account. Your account is deleted right away.

Request by email

Email info@nineonesoftware.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my WorkCam account".

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a Photo Sync subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings so you aren't charged again.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account and profile: your name, email address and user ID.
• Every team you own, including the albums, photos, videos, notes, projects, clients, expenses, payments, updates and share links in it. Other members are removed from those teams.
• Your membership in teams owned by someone else.
• Photos, videos and settings stored on your phone are removed when you uninstall the app.

What we keep, and for how long

• Photo and video files from teams you own are removed from our cloud storage within 30 days of your account being deleted.
• Content you added to a team someone else owns stays with that team, because it belongs to the team owner. Ask the team owner to delete it, or delete it yourself in the app before you delete your account.
• Purchase and subscription records are kept for up to 7 years where the law requires it for tax and accounting. Google Play and Apple also keep their own records of your purchases.
• Your deletion request and any support messages are kept for up to 2 years as a record that we handled your request.
• Analytics and crash reports aren't linked to your name or email, and are deleted automatically on Google Firebase's retention schedule.
• Copies outside WorkCam, such as photos you shared or backed up to your own Google Drive, stay where they are. They're yours to keep or delete.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual photos, videos, albums, projects and clients in the app at any time. Deleted photos can be restored for a short period from Recently deleted, then they're removed for good.
