Privacy Policy
Nineone Software Inc. built the WorkCam app, for iPhone, iPad and Android, as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Nineone Software Inc. and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our End-User License Agreement, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Advertising
WorkCam shows ads served by Google AdMob, unless you have purchased WorkCam Pro or your team has an active subscription. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and information about the ads you see and interact with, in order to serve, measure and personalize ads. Where the law requires it — for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states — WorkCam asks for your consent through Google's consent tool before ads are personalized using your information.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play, depending on the device you purchase on. We never receive your payment card details. We receive information about the purchase itself — which product, its status, renewal and expiry dates, and a purchase identifier — and use it to unlock the features you paid for, for you and, for a subscription, for your team. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies govern how they handle your payment.
Storage Integrations
WorkCam can optionally connect to a third-party storage provider that you choose, so that your work media is also kept in an account you control. This is off by default and nothing is sent to any provider until you connect one.
The providers currently available are:
When you connect a provider, WorkCam copies your albums, photos and videos into your own account with that provider. A few things about how this works:
Once your media is in your provider account, that provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle it.
Projects, Clients and Business Records
WorkCam lets you record information about your work: projects, notes, client and status updates, expenses, payments received, receipt and proof-of-payment images, and details of your clients such as their name, phone number, email address and billing address.
This information is stored on your device. If your team has a Photo Sync subscription, it is also stored on our servers so that it can be backed up and shared with the other members of your team. It is visible to the members of your team.
If you add a client's contact details, you are responsible for having their permission to store them.
AI Features
Some features analyze your media to help you: generating client and status updates from your photos and videos, and reading a scanned receipt to fill in an expense. How that processing happens depends on your device.
What is sent for cloud drafting on Android. The text description contains: the capture dates of the selected media, the album name and a place name where the media has a location, labels for what was detected in each photo or video, any text that was read from them, and the instructions and notes you entered. Because it includes text read from your photos, it may contain whatever was visible in them, such as names, phone numbers or addresses on a sign, a document or a vehicle. Your photos and videos themselves are never sent.
How it is handled. This feature requires a Photo Sync subscription and only runs when you choose to generate an update. Our servers forward the description to Google and return the draft to your device; they do not store the description or the draft, and do not log their contents. The draft is saved only if you choose to save it, and is then kept like any other project record (see Projects, Clients and Business Records). Google processes the description as our service provider under the Gemini API terms for paid services: it does not use it to improve its products, and keeps it only for a limited period to detect abuse and meet legal obligations.
If you would rather nothing leave your device, you can write updates by hand instead.
